Project:
-Create a character (a shy guy who has trouble with girls in real life because he is too shy) and make up a story about his dating life. The story should be revolved around his failure with women in REAL LIFE because he is too shy, and his success with women in ONLINE DATING (because shyness is not a problem online, unlike real life). The over all message should be, "its okay to be shy because you can do online dating and still meet the woman of your dreams". I want the story to act as a "guide" on what to do, and what not to do, learning from my mistakes, and learning from my "secrets" and "tricks" i used along the way. So, it'll be a fusion between a story (of my journey from shy in real life-how i had no success- to "fly" in online dating-how i had lots of success) and a step-by-step guide on how to become "fly" online by pointing out the "secrets" and "tips" i used along the way. Here is the important part: in these articles, you are going to try to get them to sign up with dating sites WITHOUT directly telling them to sign up... so don't make it sound salesy. Also, you are going to need to come up with the "guide" because in reality, i have no clue about online dating (thats your job lol). Feel free to add in some of your own ideas if you want, this is just the general idea. I would like to talk about each article before you begin, so I know that we are on the same page, and I know what I am getting.
Requirements:
-The articles should be a series that smoothly lead/connect to the next article in the series
-Needs to capture reader's excitement & interest. In other words, make them WANT to read, and make them want to stick around for more in my next articles.
-Must be personable, and somewhat light hearted/humorous. I WANT TO BUILD THEIR TRUST. Do NOT make it salesy (even though the point of these articles is to get them to sign up for a dating site later on, once I build their trust)
-The articles should be designed for an email campaign. So, preferably someone who has had experience in writing for email marketers/email campaigns.
-Needs to capture the emotions and feelings of my target audience (shy guys) so he can relate to it
-I don't care how long or how short these articles are, they just need to keep the reader interested and wanting more!! But, the article should not be tooooo long.
The Goal of These Articles:
-The whole point of these articles is to eventually get the person who signed up for my newsletter, to sign up for dating sites without directly selling it to them. I do NOT want them to know my intent of getting them to sign up for dating sites.
